The episode 10 of Clevatess Season 2 starts with a horrifying revelation about how the new dolls are being created. Inside a grotesque monster, the remains of babies who had their souls removed are being used as material. Their bodies, along with bones, nerves, and muscle fibers from dark beast spawn, are consumed to create new dolls while feeding the Chimera Queen. The explanation hits especially hard because Nelluru lost three children and had watched many of the babies she had nursed being taken away. What she wanted was simply for them to remain alive, making their gruesome fate even more disturbing.
The people responsible do not see the process as evil. They believe the sacrifices serve a greater purpose: developing a method that can turn dolls into vessels for souls and eventually restore fused souls to their proper bodies. At the center of that plan is the true hero, whose body sleeps inside a temple. By gathering the scattered fragments of his soul and returning them to him, they intend to awaken the hero and restore the Hero Legend to its original form. Their conviction is so extreme that they consider the sacrificed babies and dark beast spawn acceptable costs.
The confrontation quickly turns toward Alicia Glenfall, who is identified as one of the survivors among the thirteen false heroes who once challenged Clevatess, the Southern Lord of Dark Beasts. Her unexpected position as his servant makes her an especially important target. The Chimera Queen is ordered to attack her, while Alicia finds herself facing another danger tied to the mysterious forces behind the coming new era.
Elsewhere, Rathwell visits Vordin with questions about the future. Rathwell knows that Vordin is attempting to revive the real hero and restore the Hero Legend, but he cannot understand why. Vordin was responsible for bringing the previous era to an end, so Rathwell wants to know why he would now help bring that age back.
Rathwell has his own memories of the distant past. Because his predecessor was defeated before Clevatess, Rathwell was reincarnated earlier and witnessed the collapse of the human world. He remembers a civilization that was larger and more prosperous than the one that exists now, but its people seemed strangely emotionless as they accepted their fate. Later, the land was flattened and only a small number of humans remained alive.
Those survivors eventually began accepting the changed world and fighting to survive. Watching them made Rathwell question the old conflict between humans and the Lords of Dark Beasts. He cannot understand why the Lords remain bound to territories surrounding human lands when the original hero is gone. If the Hero Legend is the reason those boundaries and conflicts continue, Rathwell argues that destroying the books containing the legend—or at least taking the second book's magical teachings and the third book's weapons—could have stripped humanity of its ability to fight them. His biggest question is therefore simple: why preserve the Hero Legend now instead of destroying it?
Vordin responds with force rather than an explanation. Rathwell is confronted by Edison Rukereft, whose ability allows him to create carbon. Vordin explains that Edison's power is more like a skill than conventional magic and that he helped develop it, increasing its strength fourfold. Edison can shape charcoal into whatever he imagines, harden it to the strength of diamond, or exploit its lightness for mobility. Vordin is currently controlling him, but Edison is still dangerous enough to make the confrontation serious.
Vordin insists he is not interested in fighting Rathwell and instead wants to show him something. The situation shifts as the repaired gate connected to the forge begins opening. Vordin leads Rathwell through it, while elsewhere the people waiting near the temple realize that the gate has opened and wonder whether Vordin is responsible.
Alicia, meanwhile, is subjected to the Prison of Mirrors, a supernatural space that forces its victim to confront the most difficult opponent they have ever faced. The prison places her in a situation resembling the Ancient One in the Shaft of Elbe, threatening to swallow her while exploiting the memory of a previous ordeal. Yet Alicia manages to break through the spell's bindings.
Her escape comes with an unexpected advantage. Alicia discovers a sword inside the creature's belly. The monster has apparently swallowed numerous weapons, although most were melted beyond use. This particular sword survived because it is likely a Regalia. Its hilt is badly damaged, but Alicia only needs it to survive one battle.
Her opponent dismisses the weapon and calls her the “Backstage Princess,” insisting that possessing a Regalia does not make her special. Alicia refuses to surrender her identity as a hero. More importantly, she believes that Clevatess is coming. She can sense that his arrival is close.
The danger spreads beyond Alicia's immediate battle. Something enormous begins emerging from the location of the royal forge. Queen T'ala is informed of the disturbance and recognizes that the forge's true form may be revealing itself. The situation becomes even more urgent when the returning structure is confirmed to be connected to the third chapter of the Hero Legend.
At the same time, Klen returns to Luna and Nelluru. Luna is surprised to see him, while Klen immediately notices how much the young king has grown stronger. He also recognizes something extraordinary about Luna: the child can sense the power of a territory and possesses a unique ability to move himself and objects. No previous king is known to have possessed such a power, and nothing comparable appears in the histories or oldest fairy tales of Hiden.
Luna's intelligence is equally unusual. Although he is less than ten months old, he has the mental development of a ten-year-old child. Klen believes these abnormalities mean that the necessary “gears” are finally coming together. He praises Nelluru for protecting Luna and asks her to continue caring for him, describing her role as one of those essential gears.
Then Klen reveals why he has returned. The royal forge has suddenly risen from the ground. After the third chapter's book and forge were stolen, he could still sense the territory's power returning. Now that power is spreading far beyond one location. The holy grounds associated with the Hero Legend are awakening across all five legendary locations.
Reports arrive of a hill rising in the southwest and what appears to be the Revival Shrine from the legends. The sea around Slada Strait becomes violently restless, while another strange phenomenon appears north of Solsein. These events confirm that the awakening is happening simultaneously across the world.
The meaning becomes clear: the Hero Legend is about to begin in its true form, just as it did more than a thousand years ago when genuine heroes existed. Klen also reveals that the “true hero” is close to awakening. That is exactly what Drel and the mysterious being behind him wanted. Drel's talk of destroying the world was not necessarily about literal destruction; it referred to a transformation on such a massive scale that the existing world order would effectively change.
Klen refuses to allow that plan to proceed unchecked. He also reveals that one reason for returning was to recover the power he had previously left behind. The danger becomes immediate when a priest discovers that the blood sphere sealing Clevatess is collapsing. Klen explains that he normally should not be able to take the power of his territory elsewhere, but he has discovered an exception: a place connecting all the holy grounds mentioned in the Hero Legend. It is the mysterious location previously known as the secret room.
Luna quickly understands his responsibility. As king, he believes he must go to the gate and open it. Klen confirms that he can do it, but warns Nelluru that the area is dangerous. Opening the gate will create a corridor of light connecting spaces, and Klen does not know what could happen if an ordinary person is struck by that light.
Luna orders Nelluru to stay with his mother while he proceeds. The moment provides a brief glimpse of his still-childlike personality when he asks Klen if he can sleep surrounded by fluff again. Klen agrees, provided it can be somewhere private. Luna then opens the gate and enters the corridor of light.
Back at the forge, another gate opens. Alicia's enemy realizes that Clevatess is almost there and believes the battle is already decided. The sheer power of the Lord of Dark Beasts is emphasized by the fact that thirteen Regalia-wielding heroes were completely helpless against him.
But Alicia refuses to be intimidated. She knows exactly what Clevatess is capable of and insists that she has remained beside Vordin since the Allozar blood awakened within her. She understands the danger and still refuses to back down. The true purpose of the Mirror Labyrinth is finally revealed. Alicia reaches another mirror, one that shows the person she respects most at the height of their strength. The reflection takes the form of her father.
She is told that she cannot escape until she defeats him. The second trial is designed around forcing its victim to fight someone they absolutely do not want to fight. While the enemy remains confident that Vordin can handle Clevatess, Alicia is condemned to die at the hands of the person she loves most.
The episode closes as the dark presence of Clevatess finally approaches. Meanwhile, Vordin prepares the fragments of the hero's soul that he has gathered, intending to return them to the hero's body. He confirms that the humans developed the technique for him and expects the process to restore the hero to life. Then Vordin and Clevatess finally face one another, setting the stage for a confrontation that could determine whether the Hero Legend returns exactly as planned.
Clevatess Season 2 Episode 10 is a major turning point because the mysterious Hero Legend finally moves from ancient history into an unfolding present-day event. The awakening of the five holy grounds gives the story a much larger scale, while the revelation behind the dolls adds a disturbing moral dimension to the revival plan. Luna's strange abilities and Klen's “gears” explanation also suggest that the young king is becoming increasingly important to the world's changing balance. The strongest part of the episode, however, is Alicia's Mirror Labyrinth trial, where her identity as a hero is tested against someone she cannot bring herself to fight. With Clevatess returning, Vordin preparing the hero's soul fragments, and Alicia trapped before the image of her father, the episode ends with several major conflicts converging at once.
