The episode 10 of Skeleton Knight in Another World Season 2 starts with Arc, Ariane, and their allies battling a group of powerful giamiants while trying to protect villagers who have not yet escaped. The creatures prove to be extremely difficult opponents, forcing everyone to give the fight everything they have. Arc joins the defense as the group attempts to prevent the attack from becoming an even greater disaster.
During the chaos, Ponta discovers something suspicious inside a battered bag. The terrible smell leads the group to a horrifying discovery: a dead giamiant child. The group quickly realizes that the corpse may have been deliberately used as bait. The giamiants have apparently been manipulated into attacking settlements because someone is exploiting their connection to their dead young.
That discovery points toward a much more sinister enemy. The group encounters the mysterious twin-blade warrior previously connected to the attack on Danka. Arc senses the unmistakable presence of death surrounding him, confirming that this fighter is an undead being rather than an ordinary warrior.
Just as the confrontation develops, Chiyome and Tsubone arrive to help. What should have been a straightforward numerical advantage suddenly becomes deeply personal for Chiyome. She notices the warrior's beast-like features and immediately recognizes something familiar about him.
The shocking truth is that the undead warrior is Sasuke. Chiyome cannot accept what she is seeing. She calls out to her brother and rushes toward him, but the others warn her that the person standing before her is no longer the Sasuke she remembers. His body may still be recognizable, but he has become undead.
The revelation triggers a series of memories from Chiyome's past. She remembers Sasuke teaching her ninjutsu and helping her improve her skills. He was more than a fellow member of the Six Ninja; after Chiyome joined the village, Sasuke treated her with the kindness of a real brother. Those memories make his transformation especially devastating.
Even worse, this undead Sasuke is not behaving like the mindless undead Arc and the others encountered previously. The undead from Denel Village acted largely on instinct and required direction from a master. Sasuke, however, appears capable of thought and can still use ninjutsu. This raises the frightening possibility that some part of his consciousness might remain inside his undead body.
Chiyome eventually understands the truth by looking into Sasuke's eyes. Although he possesses her brother's face and techniques, she realizes that the person she loved is no longer there. The realization is painful, but it allows her to stop clinging to the hope that Sasuke can simply return to normal.
Chiyome asks Ariane whether there is any magic capable of restoring an undead person. Ariane explains that bringing back the dead crosses into the domain of the gods and that neither the elves nor Arc possess a way to accomplish it. Arc agrees that resurrection is impossible. Instead of breaking down, Chiyome makes a difficult decision. She knows what must be done. She and Tsubone will have to stop Sasuke.
Tsubone explains the rule behind that decision. Members of the Six Ninja carry the responsibility of disposing of another member who strays from their path. Since Sasuke has become an undead enemy, the code leaves Chiyome and Tsubone with no alternative. Their duty now requires them to hunt down one of their own.
The decision becomes even more heartbreaking because Chiyome is not acting out of hatred. She knows Sasuke saved her life and treated her like a sister. That is exactly why she wants to settle the matter herself. She accepts the painful responsibility because she believes it is the only way to honor both the Six Ninja code and the brother she remembers.
The group then investigates the pattern behind the giamiant attacks. A map reveals that the attacked settlements form a path leading toward Tajiento. The group realizes that Sasuke, or whoever controls the undead, has been directing the giamiants toward a specific destination. Tajiento is particularly important because it is a human-controlled city on the southern continent. Most of the surrounding territory is controlled by the Fobnach Kingdom, while Tajiento belongs to the Revlon Empire. More importantly for Ariane, members of her kin are being held inside the city.
Tajiento's strong walls have made a rescue difficult, but the giamiant attack could create the perfect opening. If the creatures throw the city into chaos, Arc, Ariane, Chiyome, and Tsubone may finally have a chance to rescue the captured beastmen and elves. Chiyome agrees to go because Sasuke may also be heading there. Arc and Ariane decide to accompany her, turning the journey into both a rescue mission and a search for the undead ninja.
Before leaving, Arc gives their young companion a name: Shiden. The group discovers that Arc has already been teaching Shiden simple commands such as sitting, shaking, and coming when called. The playful moment provides some relief after the emotional confrontation with Sasuke, although Chiyome remains focused on the difficult mission ahead.
Tsubone also notices how deeply the situation is affecting Chiyome. Chiyome admits that Sasuke saved her life and treated her as a true sister after she joined the village. Because of that bond, she wants to be the one who faces him when the time comes. The story then shifts to the people responsible for the larger crisis. Members of the Hilk Church discuss their plans to bring chaos into the world. Their twisted religious beliefs are tied to death, and their followers appear willing to destroy lives in the name of their faith.
The conversation reveals that the church is involved in more than simple religious preaching. Its members are conducting experiments involving living subjects, including captured beastmen. One character even comments on the suspicious difference between the number of beastmen captured and the number officially listed as being in custody.
The church's mysterious figures then move forward with their plan. A test subject is described as impressive, and the order is given to begin. The target is Tajiento. Giamiants suddenly enter the city, causing panic among the population. Residents are ordered to evacuate as the creatures move through Tajiento. But the giamiants are only the beginning.
Undead creatures begin emerging from the church itself. The sight confirms that the attack is part of a carefully organized plan. The city is being attacked from outside by giamiants while an undead force is being released from within. The combination creates exactly the kind of chaos that Arc and his allies can exploit for their rescue mission, but it also makes the city far more dangerous.
Arc, Ariane, Chiyome, Tsubone, and Shiden arrive and immediately see that Tajiento is already under attack. Arc enters the fight and uses his Sacred Knight skill, Judgment against the undead. The presence of undead inside Tajiento gives Chiyome another reason to fear what she might find. If Sasuke is connected to these forces, he could be somewhere inside the city.
Arc and the others quickly organize their objectives. They will carry out the rescue operation while searching for Sasuke. Ariane makes it clear that freeing their captured kin is the priority. The group should avoid unnecessary battles with humans and only fight those who attempt to stop them.
As they push deeper into Tajiento, the situation becomes increasingly dangerous. The number of undead continues to rise, but Arc and the others keep moving forward. They eventually encounter people who can tell them where the captured beastmen and elves are being held.
The rescue team fights through the undead and reaches the prisoners. Tsubone uses her combat abilities to clear a path, allowing the captives to escape. The mission succeeds in giving the imprisoned people a chance at freedom, but Chiyome and Tsubone still have one unfinished objective: finding Sasuke.
The deeper they go, the more obvious it becomes that Sasuke is at the center of the disaster. Chiyome eventually reaches him and declares that she has found him. But Sasuke is not alone. Standing beside the undead ninja is a mysterious man connected to the Hilk Church. Chiyome immediately demands to know whether he is the one who transformed Sasuke into an undead.
The man's answer is chilling. He does not even treat Sasuke as a person. He casually refers to him as his puppet. This confirms that Sasuke's transformation was not an accident. Someone deliberately turned him into an undead weapon and is using his body for their own purposes. Arc quickly recognizes the man's clothing as belonging to the church, but he also realizes that this is no ordinary priest. The stranger's attitude and power immediately mark him as a much more significant enemy.
The man finally introduces himself as Palurumo Avaritia Liberalitas, one of the seven Cardinals of the Hilk Church. Ariane recognizes the Hilk Church as a growing human faith whose followers consider beastmen and elves to be unclean. That revelation makes the church's treatment of the captured races even more disturbing, especially after everything the group has discovered inside Tajiento.
Palurumo then takes an unusual interest in Chiyome. Rather than immediately attacking, he begins questioning her and appears fascinated by her identity and origins. His behavior suggests that Chiyome herself may have become a new object of interest for the church. The episode ends with the confrontation still unresolved. Chiyome has finally reached the person controlling her undead brother, while Arc and Ariane are facing one of the Hilk Church's seven Cardinals. Tajiento continues to collapse around them, and the next battle promises to be far more personal than the opening giamiant attack.
Skeleton Knight in Another World Season 2 Episode 10 is a strong character-driven episode that gives Chiyome her most painful challenge yet. The reveal that the undead warrior attacking the Tiger Clan is Sasuke, her brother and fellow Six Ninja, immediately raises the emotional stakes, especially when Chiyome realizes that his eyes no longer belong to the brother she remembers. The episode also expands the larger threat by connecting Sasuke to the undead experiments and the mysterious Hilk Church, while the planned destruction of Tajiento turns the story into a much bigger crisis. Arc and Ariane's rescue mission keeps the action moving, but Chiyome's decision to personally stop Sasuke gives the episode its real emotional punch. The final confrontation with Palurumo Avaritia Liberalitas, one of the Hilk Church's seven Cardinals, leaves the story on an excellent cliffhanger and sets up a potentially brutal battle for the next episode.
