Several infiltrators have already entered using death masks, a form of herbal magic that creates a convincing copy of another person's face with arcanacite powder and clay. With the real victims' appearances stolen, the infiltrators can move through the school while their identities remain hidden beneath their hoods. They are not interested in simply reaching the Dark Tower anymore. The secret activity inside the school has become an even more valuable target.
When Tygel, Leon, and the others arrive near the underground gathering, they discover just how enormous the conspiracy really is. A crowd of influential people from Eslinn and Boelate has gathered in secret. Tygel recognizes the group as the Union, an ancient society that has existed since the era when magic was still treated as little more than a strange performance.
The Union's real goal is far more ambitious. Its members have spent generations trying to perfectly recreate the magic described in the ancient hero legends. Whenever modern magic made a major advance, the Union was apparently somewhere in the shadows, using wars and conflicts between nations as opportunities to test its experiments. The revelation becomes even more alarming when Tygel learns that the dean of the school is the Union's leader.
The secret meeting then begins in earnest. The Union's leader declares that the crisis surrounding Solsein and the appearance of the Dark Tower have created the perfect moment to achieve their greatest ambition: the complete revival of the hero legend.
The group has been secretly collecting the chapters of the Book of Toah, a sacred text described as the source of human history and even the foundation of humanity's domain. According to the Union, the book contains the path to expanding that domain, and the hero legend is central to unlocking its power.
The leader reveals that the second chapter, the Book of the Village of Origin, is already in their possession. Nearly every other volume has also been gathered. Only one of the most difficult books remained beyond their reach: the third chapter, the Book of the Forge. Now that book has appeared alongside the Dark Tower. For the Union, the pieces they have spent years collecting are finally coming together.
While this is happening, separate investigations begin exposing another side of the conspiracy. In Boelate's capital, the Emperor suddenly insists on seeing his daughter, Milea, who is the chairwoman of Solsein. In Eslinn, another investigation focuses on Cardinal Elro Romain. His past offers no obvious sign that he was involved with magic or the Union. He was once known as a humble and devout priest, but something changed after his connection to Solsein and his meetings with General Drel.
Back at the school, the mystery surrounding Milea becomes impossible to ignore. A familiar image suddenly triggers an important memory: a mirror that had seemed completely out of place in Drel's room. The same mirror had apparently been seen in Milea's room before. That strange connection leads to a disturbing discovery. The real dean has been replaced through a death mask, proving that someone has been secretly moving between different identities.
The episode then looks fourteen years into the past to explain how Milea became involved with this hidden world. After the death of her mother, the young princess Milea spends much of her time staring into empty space with an expressionless face. Those around her believe her strange behavior may be connected to her Allozar bloodline. Before her mother's death, Milea receives an emotional message telling her that she is loved and apologizing for what she has endured. Her father, however, refuses to let grief destroy his daughter and promises to raise her as the daughter of an emperor.
Not long afterward, Drel returns after spending years traveling the world. He asks to offer his magical power and knowledge to the empire in exchange for only one thing: the freedom to pursue the path of magic. Drel argues that magic will become essential in the coming era and claims that his knowledge could win battles with fewer soldiers.
The Emperor tests Drel's ambitions by asking whether he wants to become the Great Sage from the hero legend. Drel admits that he cannot become that figure himself, but he believes he can find the person who can and train them. Intrigued, the Emperor accepts his proposal and allows Drel to pursue magic in the empire while making it clear that betrayal will not be forgiven.
Drel's arrival changes Milea's life as well. He discovers that she can hear a mysterious voice and tells her to look into a mirror and ask who is speaking to her. When Milea does so, the voice responds. Drel tells her that the blood of Allozar will guide her, and from that moment, the withdrawn child begins to change.
Years later, Milea fully embraces her identity. She declares herself the daughter of the Emperor and the owner of the Book of Solsein, the book once known as the Village of Origin. As a descendant of Bishop Allozar, she presents herself before the Union and claims the Book of Toah as a guide on the path of magic.
Her rise within the Union is extraordinary. Milea easily defeats the group's previous leader in a magical duel, stunning the members who had underestimated her. At just fourteen years old, she takes control of Solsein and publicly becomes its chairwoman while secretly deciding that she also needs the authority of the dean.

The revelation becomes even more dangerous when Vordin, the Lord of Dark Beasts of the North, is named as part of the mystery.
As the group processes everything they have learned, Alicia realizes that this hidden world may contain an even deeper layer. She notices cracks where red light leaks through and concludes that they may actually be seams in reality. The world itself seems incomplete, and that incompleteness may explain why Alicia can faintly sense Klen and why her damaged body has begun to heal.
Believing the cracks can lead her closer to the truth, Alicia decides to jump through one of them. She gives Gart instructions to tell Klen what is happening if possible, while Rhode is ordered to pursue the Dean and take whatever action is necessary against the book.
The others warn Alicia that she will be entering the heart of the enemy's territory alone, but she accepts the risk without hesitation. Alicia admits that walking into a deadly situation is exactly the kind of reckless thing a hero would do. Remembering that spirit gives her the push she needs.
With the hidden world's deepest secrets still waiting beyond the cracks, Alicia makes her decision and throws herself toward the unknown, determined to find the secret room and uncover what lies at the center of the Union's terrifying plan.

The concept of the mirror and the dark, distorted world adds a genuinely unsettling layer to the story, while the reveal that entering it can transform people into dark beasts raises the stakes around the hero legend and Vordin. Alicia remains the episode's emotional anchor, and her decision to jump into the unknown alone delivers a fittingly reckless but heroic ending. Although Episode 7 spends more time on secrets and world-building than major action, the constant reveals and Alicia's final leap make it an important, suspenseful chapter that sets up even bigger dangers ahead.
