The episode 1 of The Forsaken Saintess and Her Foodie Roadtrip in Another World starts with Rin Takanashi introducing herself as a woman in her twenties who once worked as a caregiver and now practices acupuncture. She enjoys tabletop RPGs and solo camping, especially fishing and cooking meals with ingredients she gathers herself. During one peaceful fishing trip, she finally hooks what feels like an enormous catch. Instead of pulling out a giant fish, she ends up dragging a handsome ogre out of the water. Realizing she is no longer in her own world, Rin quickly accepts that she has somehow arrived in a fantasy land.
Some time later, the rescued stranger recovers while sharing a meal with Rin beside Lake Real. She prepares fresh Milk Trout, and both are amazed by its rich flavor. Rin happily explains how the fish pairs well with barley tea, while her guest enjoys every bite. Wanting to make sure he has enough to eat, she grills more fish over the fire before they formally introduce themselves.
The man reveals that his name is Ville, an adventurer from the town of Elrage. He explains that he had been traveling alone when a monster stole his luggage while he was bathing. Although his equipment survived, all of his food disappeared, leaving him starving. His desperate attempt to find something to eat ended with him falling into the river, where Rin eventually found and rescued him.
Ville thanks Rin repeatedly but also warns her that helping an unknown stranger without hesitation is dangerous. Rin calmly replies that her special skill never sensed any danger from him, so she trusted him immediately. While talking, she notices his soaking wet clothes and uses a spell called Wash and Dry to clean and dry them instantly. Ville is shocked by the magic, while Rin simply considers it another useful ability.
Curious about magic, Rin finally explains the truth. She tells Ville that she came from another world through the legendary Saintess Summoning. While camping in her own world, she suddenly fell into a mysterious hole and woke inside what looked like a royal summoning chamber. A beautiful high school girl summoned alongside her was immediately welcomed as the Saintess, while Rin was dismissed as someone with worthless skills. Moments later, another spell transported her alone into the wilderness beside Lake Real.
Instead of feeling angry, Rin focuses on the positive side of her situation. She believes that if she had never been sent away, she would never have met Ville or saved his life. Inside, the camper contains a spacious kitchen, endless storage, clean water, electricity, and a refrigerator permanently stocked with supplies from her original world. Even more astonishing, consumed items automatically replenish by converting the world's mana into new supplies. Garbage and wastewater also disappear automatically, making the vehicle completely self-sustaining.
Ville quickly realizes how extraordinary this ability truly is. Rather than being worthless, he believes Rin could supply an entire army if necessary. Rin laughs off the idea, insisting she has no interest in war and only wants to enjoy peaceful camping. Both agree that keeping the camper's existence secret is probably for the best.
As evening falls, Rin prepares an impressive dinner using Almiraj meat that Ville hunted earlier. She serves risotto alongside Italian-style sashimi made from the freshly caught trout. Every bite amazes Ville, who has never tasted food this delicious during an adventure. He eagerly asks for another serving, praising Rin's cooking while she modestly insists she simply enjoys preparing meals.
Their conversation soon turns toward Rin's future. Since she has no money, identification, or way to return home, she has no idea what to do next. Seeing an opportunity, Ville invites her to join his adventuring party as their cook and porter. Their peaceful journey is suddenly interrupted when a Giant Crow attacks. Afterward, he explains that defeated monsters leave behind materials and meat, teaching Rin another important rule of this world's adventuring life.
The two continue traveling toward Elrage inside Mo. Ville is amazed by its incredible speed, comfort, and ability to cover in hours what would normally require several days on foot. To avoid alarming travelers who cannot see the invisible vehicle, they choose a quieter mountain route instead.
Their trip takes another unexpected turn when Survival Strategy suddenly issues a warning. A Fire Bear appears nearby, but before Ville can react, several adventurers are already battling it. He immediately recognizes them as the members of Glutton's Table. Excited to reunite with his companions, Ville tells Rin to wait safely inside Mo while he rushes forward to join the fight.
The episode ends with Ville charging toward his party as Rin watches from a distance, preparing for her first meeting with the companions who may soon become her new family in this unfamiliar world.
