Yuri was just a normal high school girl living a peaceful life in Japan. Recently, her childhood friend Himuro had finally confessed his feelings to her, and the two even shared their first kiss. Yuri couldn't stop thinking about him and believed her happy life would continue forever. However, she had no idea that everything was about to change. That very night, while walking near an old water spring, strange hands suddenly came out of the water and grabbed her. She struggled with all her strength, but she couldn't escape. In the next moment, she woke up in a completely unknown world. Confused and frightened, Yuri looked around, trying to understand where she was, but everything looked ancient and unfamiliar.
Yuri had no idea where she had ended up. She couldn't understand the language of the people around her, and before she could figure anything out, a group of soldiers found her. They had been ordered to capture the mysterious girl and take her to the royal palace. Terrified, Yuri immediately ran away and somehow managed to escape. While running through the city, she met a young man named Prince Kail, the third prince of the Hittite Empire. At first, neither of them could understand the other's language. However, after Kail kissed Yuri, they suddenly became able to understand one another. Realizing that Yuri was in danger, Kail hid her from the soldiers and secretly helped her escape, giving her hope that she might actually survive.
Sadly, Yuri's luck didn't last very long. The soldiers eventually found her again and brought her straight to the royal palace. There, she finally came face to face with Queen Nakia, the woman who had used dark magic to bring her into this strange world. Nakia revealed the shocking truth. The old king had several sons who could become the next ruler of the Hittite Empire, but she wanted only her own son to inherit the throne. To make that happen, she needed to perform a powerful dark ritual that required the blood of an innocent girl from another world. That innocent girl was Yuri, and from the very beginning, she had been brought there only to become a sacrifice.
Just then, the old king entered the room before Queen Nakia could carry out her real plan. To hide the truth, she quickly lied and told the king that Yuri was a sacred girl sent by the gods and that sacrificing her would bring peace and blessings to the kingdom. The king believed every word she said and immediately ordered the sacrifice to take place the following day. The next morning, people from all over the kingdom gathered at the temple to watch the ceremony. Yuri was taken to the altar, believing that her life was about to end. She felt completely helpless because there seemed to be no way to escape her fate.
Just when everything seemed hopeless, Prince Kail suddenly appeared and stopped the ceremony. He announced that Yuri could no longer be offered as a sacrifice because she was no longer "pure." In reality, he only meant that he had kissed her earlier, but he purposely made everyone believe that she could no longer be used in the ritual. According to the temple's rules, he was absolutely right. Queen Nakia was furious because her entire plan had fallen apart, but there was nothing she could do. The king accepted Kail's explanation, canceled the sacrifice, and ordered Prince Kail to take Yuri under his protection. Yuri had escaped death, but she was still trapped in a world she didn't understand.
Later, Kail explained that Queen Nakia had brought Yuri into this world only to use her in the dangerous ritual. While talking to the people around her, Yuri heard the name of the famous Egyptian Pharaoh Tutankhamun. At that very moment, she realized the unbelievable truth. She hadn't traveled to another country or another kingdom—she had traveled thousands of years into the past, to the time of the Ancient Hittite Empire. Yuri couldn't believe what had happened to her. Everything she knew, including her family, her friends, and Himuro, had been left behind in the future. Now, only one question remained in her mind:
Would she ever find a way back home, or would she be forced to spend the rest of her life in this ancient world?
