The episode 8 Wanmei Shijie starts with Shi Hao finally learns the heartbreaking truth about the fate of his parents. The village elder explains that years ago, both of them were exiled to the ancestral lands of the Shi Clan kingdoms. During their difficult journey, they discovered Stone Village through ancient maps left behind by their ancestors. The elder reveals that Stone Village is actually the true ancestral homeland and the only place where the injured Shi Hao could recover after losing his Supreme Bone.

Although they wished to stay with their son, Shi Hao's parents feared their enemies would discover their location. To protect him, they eventually returned to the Second Ancestral Land, leaving him behind in the care of Stone Village.

After hearing the entire story, Shi Hao can no longer suppress the longing he has carried since childhood. He firmly declares that he wants to travel to the Second Ancestral Land and reunite with his parents. The elder immediately refuses because the destination is over three hundred thousand miles away. However, a young girl suddenly appears and claims the beast as her own prey. She argues that she injured it first, while Shi Hao insists that according to the wilderness hunting rules, whoever delivers the final blow becomes the rightful owner. Their amusing argument immediately turns into a contest of pride, with neither willing to surrender.

The mysterious girl soon recognizes Shi Hao as the famous little boy known for drinking animal milk. Shi Hao finally realizes that she is Huo Linger, whom he jokingly calls the Fire Dragon Girl. Their reunion instantly becomes chaotic as they exchange insults, playful teasing, and fiery attacks that nearly set the entire forest ablaze.

Despite their constant bickering, the situation suddenly changes when an even more terrifying ancient beast appears. Forced to cooperate, Shi Hao and Huo Linger launch a coordinated attack. Huo Linger unleashes powerful fire techniques while Shi Hao uses his combat instincts and cultivation abilities to exploit the beast's weaknesses.

Even their combined strength proves insufficient against such a terrifying opponent. Shi Hao eventually exhausts himself and collapses after protecting his companions.

Huo Linger secretly nurses him back to health and even prepares a precious Divine Bird egg to restore his energy. Surprisingly, Shi Hao refuses to eat it because he once promised his childhood friend Ziyun that he would never eat bird eggs again.

His innocent explanation unexpectedly makes Huo Linger jealous. She repeatedly questions who Ziyun is, only to become even more annoyed after Shi Hao happily describes how kind and beautiful his childhood companion is. Although she refuses to admit it, her reactions reveal the beginning of a humorous rivalry that will likely continue throughout their future adventures.
