I Became A Legend After My 10 Year-Long Last Stand Episode 5 Recap: Lock Faces The Ultimate High Lord Challenge

The legendary party finally comes back together to face a massive vampire threat inside the royal palace! Lock Franzen must use all his insane power to stop an evil plan, but a terrifying new enemy is waiting for him in the shadows. Can the ultimate F-rank adventurer save the kingdom?

Vampire Mind Control and the Royal Palace Intrusion

The episode 5 of I Became A Legend After My 10 Year-Long Last Stand starts with Lock Franzen explaining the huge danger of fighting vampires to his friends. He tells everyone that these monsters can easily trick humans with scary mental magic. He says that normal soldiers cannot fight them because they will get turned into evil puppets very quickly. Luckily, Lock and his strong buddy Goran can resist these bad magic spells completely.

A brave beastkin girl named Sia says her people are ready to jump into the big fight. She explains that beastkin warriors are completely immune to vampire mind control tricks. Another warrior wants to help too but says he must stay behind. He needs to protect a special sacred bird named Exalted Gerberga from any danger. Suddenly, some bad vampires appear out of nowhere to attack the group.

Lock Franzen Uses Implosion Magic

A young warrior girl named Celliss steps up quickly to protect the innocent royal family. She uses her weapon to block the fast vampire attacks very bravely. Lock sees his chance and jumps right into the middle of the room. He tells Celliss that he will handle the scary monsters from now on. Lock is not afraid of their weird mind tricks at all.

Lock raises his hands and casts a massive magic spell called Implosion. The air around the vampires transforms into a hot, heavy, and super-pressurized ball of pure fire. In just one short second, the evil monsters turn into tiny pieces of dust. Everyone in the room is completely shocked by how fast Lock won the fight. They cheer for the great hero Luck Franzen.

The Royal Family and the Vampire Lord Hierarchy

The young princesses, Charlotte and Mary, run quickly to their worried father. The king asks if his daughters are safe and sound after the scary attack. The girls smile and say they are perfectly fine because Celliss protected them. The king thanks Celliss with a happy heart for saving his beloved children from the vampires. Celliss feels a little shy about the praise.

Suddenly, more bad life signals appear on Lock's special magic radar. Lock decides to use a cool sorcery spell created by a powerful mage named Luccira. He uses the magic to look through a secret portal. On the other side, an evil vampire named Lord Eighth is talking to his spooky minions. The minions say they came on orders from Lord Sixth.

The Secret Infiltration Plan and Roana's Betrayal

The minions tell Lord Eighth that three vampire life signs vanished near the palace. Lock learns that lower numbers mean the vampire has a much higher rank. This means Lord Sixth is way stronger than Lord Eighth. Lord Eighth gets very angry because he wants to steal the special chicken god bird. He thinks the other lords are interfering with his own secret plans.

The minions explain that Lord Sixth has many human puppets inside the royal palace. Lord Eighth decides he wants to talk to Lord Sixth right away. He asks if a glowing magic circle on the floor will take him there. The minions say yes, so Lord Eighth uses his evil magic to destroy the minions instantly. Lock watches everything carefully from his secret view.

Back in the real room, Lock examines a shiny silver tray on the table. Celliss says a palace maid named Roana brought them sweet treats on it. Lock realizes the tray has a hidden teleportation circle drawn on it. Goran is surprised because the royal palace has super strong magic defenses. Lock explains that sneaking an item inside is very easy.

Lock Infiltrates the Vampire Base

Lock tells everyone that the maid Roana was tricked by vampire mind magic. He orders Celliss and Sia to go arrest the maid immediately. He tells Eric to take the little princesses to a safe room. Then, Lock asks Goran to stay back and guard the sacred bird. Lock decides he will go through the portal alone to fight Lord Sixth.

Goran asks if Lock is crazy for going without any help. Lock tells Goran to smash the silver tray after he jumps through. This will stop more monsters from coming into the palace. Lock leaps into the glowing light and disappears instantly. He arrives inside a dark, spooky vampire base filled with many evil soldiers. The monsters scream in surprise.

The Defeat of Lord Sixth and the Vampire Curse

The vampire soldiers rush forward to grab Lock, but he is too fast. Lock draws his giant sword and swings it in a wide circle. He uses a massive blast of power that hits his own enemies. The vampire soldiers complain about the heavy friendly fire. Lord Sixth looks at Lock's cool weapon and asks to have it.

Lock smiles and tells the evil lord to try and take it. They clash swords with incredible speed and power. Lord Sixth is shocked by Lock's crazy strength and asks for his name. Lock tells the monster that he is just an F-rank adventurer. Lock demands to know how the vampires snuck inside the beautiful royal castle.

Lord Sixth laughs and says he will never answer that question. Suddenly, the evil lord triggers a scary self-destruct curse on his own body. He warns Lock that a powerful vampire king will destroy all humans soon. The lord turns to ash, and a young turned human nearby starts crying in pain. The poor person begs Lock for help.

Reuniting the Legendary Hero's Party

Lock tries to save the crying person, but the vampire curse is too fast. The human melts away into dust right in front of him. Lock feels very sad and apologizes for not being fast enough. He walks back through the magic portal and meets his friends. Lock tells Goran that he defeated every single monster at the base.

Goran praises Lock but feels sad because a nearby village was destroyed. Goran promises to send guild workers to give the villagers a nice funeral. Meanwhile, Sia reports that the maid Roana is safe. She was only under a mind trick, so doctors can cure her. Lock says they must find the big boss to end the war.

Lock announces that he is going to hunt down the vampire High Lord. Goran and Eric say they want to join the fight too. They explain that their old legendary party must fight together again. Celliss begs to come along, but Goran says no. He tells her she would get in the way of their ultimate powers.

The Mountain Raid against the Vampire Lords

Goran gives Celliss a special long sword to guard the castle instead. Later, Lock's team walks into the big mountains near the kingdom. They meet a strong beastkin chief who found the High Lord's secret base. Lock gives Sia a cool sword he stole from Lord Sixth. He uses a dispel spell to reveal a giant hidden cave.

The team walks inside and uses a sleeping mist to knock out minor monsters. Suddenly, thirty powerful vampire lords surround the team and block the exit. Goran and Eric tell Lock to run ahead to face the main boss. They promise to clear the path. Lock nods and runs deep into the cave to find the leader.

The episode ends with Lock and Sia entering a giant room to face the High Lord. The High Lord looks super sinister and uses a scary red barrier. Lock moves with insane speed and cuts off the High Lord's left arm. However, the High Lord just laughs as his arm grows back instantly. Lock realizes this final battle will be incredibly tough.

Episode Review

The action in this episode was totally off the charts. Watching Lock Franzen use his Implosion magic to dust those three vampires in the beginning was so cool. The animation during these high-speed combat sequences felt incredibly smooth and fluid.

The best part of the entire episode was definitely seeing the legendary hero's party reunite for a massive raid. The pacing was absolutely perfect, balancing intense palace drama with explosive battle choreography. It truly feels like the stakes have never been higher for our favorite characters.

That final cliffhanger with the vampire High Lord regenerating his arm instantly has me completely hyped for next week! The visual effects during the mountain cave battle looked incredibly crisp and premium. This is definitely one of the strongest episodes of the season so far, leaving fans desperate to see how Lock survives this ultimate clash.
